Cologne-Bonn Airport can be reached by plane in about 60 minutes from many major European cities, such as Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris, Prague, London, Munich, Milan, and Zurich. The Exhibition Center can be reached quickly and easily from the airport. In addition, high-speed ICE trains connect the airports in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Brussels directly to the Exhibition Center.
Intercity Express, regional and suburban trains depart regularly from Cologne-Bonn Airport and stop directly at the Exhibition Center station Köln-Deutz.
Book hotel rooms at top conditions in selected partner hotels of Koelnmesse. Please make your reservation as early as possible, as there are other parallel events at the Exhibition Grounds in Cologne.
Please be informed that we work only with the official Koelnmesse accommodation agency.
Other agencies that contact you may be a scam and will do aggressive (phone) marketing, so we do recommend to be cautious!
Please inform yourself in good time before the start of the event about the entry regulations that apply to you. Make sure you obtain the official written invitation from IAW-Messe from us as you will need to submit this together with your visa application.
Once you have sent us your personal details, we will send you the letter of invitation by email.
Official VISA conditions and details
For trade visitors it is not permitted to enter the halls with big or heavy luggage. Please leave your bags or suitcases at the cloakroom. You may use cabin size luggage, bags or small backpacks (up to 55 x 40 x 20 cm).
Please remember that smoking is not permitted in public areas by law, which includes the IAW exhibition halls. There are covered designated smoking areas next to each hall. Feel free to use them. Thank you for your cooperation!
We regret to inform you that animals may not be brought into the Exhibition Center anywhere.
